Personal Data Processing Note
At Sysmex Greece, we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This notice explains how your information is processed when you submit your CV as part of our recruitment process, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
By submitting your curriculum vitae (CV), you enable us to review the information contained therein and, provided that we determine that the formal requirements for a position that the Company wishes to fill are met, to contact you in order to request any additional information that may be required or to arrange an interview meeting.
The Company acts as the Data Controller of the personal data that you provide through your CV, as well as within the framework of any further communication that may be required for the evaluation of your qualifications for the purpose of filling a position within the Company.
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless this is required for the operation of the Company’s systems or is imposed by applicable legislation. Access to such data is granted only to specifically authorized persons of the Company, namely employees or associates of the Company who are bound by a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Declaration, and solely for the purpose of evaluating your qualifications for the position for which you submitted your CV.
Your personal data will be retained by the Company for six (6) months following the completion of the recruitment process. In the event that you accept an offer of employment with the Company, the personal data relating to you will be processed and retained in accordance with the “Employee Personal Data Processing Notice.” Upon expiry of the above-mentioned periods, as applicable, the personal data concerning you will be deleted and/or destroyed.
If the CV that you have just submitted contains information relating to criminal convictions and offences or special categories of personal data, such as, indicatively, information concerning political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health data, etc., or if you provide information relating to third parties without attaching the relevant authorization from such persons, the Company will immediately delete your CV.
In relation to the processing of your personal data, you retain the rights provided for under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (Articles 15–22 of the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), including, inter alia, the right of access to your data, verification of their content, rectification and erasure thereof, as well as the right to obtain a copy of your personal data.
